Ecatenate Builds Vehicle Gritting Analytics App for East Ayrshire Council
Ecatenate has developed a Vehicle Gritting Analytics Web App for East Ayrshire Council. The app provides data visualisation of vehicle gritting activity using Google Maps. Multiple vehicle routes and different types of gritting activity on specific dates are rendered using the Google Maps JavaScript API.
Vehicle activity data is extracted from the Webfleet platform API. Ecatenate developed an analytics engine to load, transform and optimise the data for rapid analysis. The app was developed using SQL Server and JavaScript. Bootstrap 4 provides a responsive user experience for desktop and mobile.
