McLaughlin & Harvey Selects Ecatenate to Develop SHEQ Audit Performance App
Ecatenate has been commissioned to develop a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) audit performance app for McLaughlin & Harvey. The app will provide the company with a powerful and flexible analytical tool for reviewing SHEQ compliance performance for subcontractors and contracts. Using data visualisation such as RAG (red amber green) and micro charts, the app will simplify the analysis of compliance performance over time. McLaughlin & Harvey perform SHEQ audit inspections on sites for clients such as IKEA, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s and Rolls Royce.
McLaughlin & Harvey has been in the building and civil engineering and property development sector for more than 160 years, operating across Britain and Ireland. The firm maintains a high standard of SHEQ compliance and want to simplify the effort involved in the administration and support of SHEQ audit activity and reporting.
The SHEQ audit performance app will feature a workflow system to streamline the assignment and approval of tasks required to rectify non-conformance issues.
Ecatenate will be integrating the system with a digital forms platform called Formistica – used for mobile form data capture during audits.
The SHEQ audit app will be an extension to an existing commercial management web app called Scope, also developed by Ecatenate. McLaughlin & Harvey use Scope to onboard new subcontractors, manage ongoing contracts and track the status of subcontractors through API integration with HRMC, Creditsafe and Constructionline. Scope helps McLaughlin & Harvey manage risk when working with subcontractors and suppliers.
