Ecatenate Develops Android and iOS SHEQ Apps for McLaughlin & Harvey
Ecatenate has completed development of Android and iOS SHEQ apps for McLaughlin & Harvey. The apps were created to support the company’s “You Matter” health & safety programme. Ecatenate developed the apps using Xamarin and Formistica.
The “You Matter” app provides a form for capturing health & safety observations or incidents. Photographs can be added including visual annotations. As soon as a SHEQ observation is submitted from the app, Formistica sends a report PDF and email notification to key people responsible for health & safety.
Using Formistica, McLaughlin & Harvey can make changes to the form’s fields, design and layout without having to re-publish the app on the Android and iOS app stores. They can also make changes without any coding or developer help. This simplifies ongoing changes and reduces the time and cost for publishing new versions of the “You Matter” app.
