Case Studies
Brigade Electronics
Brigade Electronics is a global leader in commercial vehicle safety solutions.
Brigade has been providing safety systems and enhancing road and plant safety since 1976.
Ecatenate created a Geotab telematics solution for Brigade Electronics which is available in the Geotab Marketplace. The Geotab integration is currently being used in the UK, Europe and Canada. We also worked with Brigade to produce a development roadmap to plan future features.
The solution includes a Geotab Add-in for the MyGeotab Map page that allows multi-camera live video to be streamed for any vehicle. We also created an add-in for the MyGeotab Trip History page that allows video footage to be retrieved on-demand.
Ecatenate developed a “driving events” portal that shows a consolidated list driving behaviour violations with access to multi-camera video footage. The solution we created integrates Geotab’s trip and driving event data with Brigade’s video telematics platform to automatically upload footage from the vehicle MDR for violations. Driving events can be categorised and additional information can be added to help prioritise and follow-up actions for each violation.
We used the MyGeotab Add-In SDK and the Geotab CheckMate API to integrate data. The solution tech stack we used was SQL Server, JavaScript, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
Mantis
Mantis was founded in 2020 in Belfast, to create fleet safety and risk management solutions.
Ecatenate developed a Geotab telematics solution for Mantis which is available in the Geotab Marketplace. The solution we created includes Geotab Add-ins for the MyGeotab Map and MyGeotab Trip History pages.
We also created an “evidence centre” portal that shows a list driving events with access to multi-camera video footage. The solution we created integrates Geotab’s trip and driving event data with Streamax video telematics platform to automatically retrieve vehicle footage for driving events such as harsh braking or steering.
We used the MyGeotab Add-In SDK and the Geotab CheckMate API to integrate data with the Streamax video telematics platform API. The solution tech stack we used was SQL Server, JavaScript, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
